Fantastic thermometer! One of my favorite special occasion meals to prepare is slow roasted thick pork chops, but judging the cooking time to reach the perfect doneness is tedious. I have to continue to check the meat ever few minutes towards the end of the cooking time. Very annoying, especially if I am trying to entertain guests. My husband gave this thermometer to me for my birthday and I love it! Now I’m able to set up the thermometer and it will tell me when the meat is perfectly done! Total game changer!

I thought I had meat thermometers all covered until I found out about this product. I can't believe I can actually watch my food cook by looking at an app or the device that comes with this item. I can tell when my meat is ready easily by glancing at the screen. This product has little to no maintenance involved and I didn't mind the price because this is made of steel and will last for years. If you are tired of buying the cheaper meat thermometers over and over like I was, you should try this one. This is more value for the money at a time when money can't be wasted.

This was a newer model that their customer support said had improved wifi, which I never had a problem with on my first model. The price was almost the same so I bought it and wasn't disappointed. Having already had one, setting it up was as simple as charging for over 2 hours, turning it on and pairing with my iPhone. Worked like a charm and almost eliminated the need to check on my pot roast regularly -- just needed quick checks on the exterior coloring of the meat. This gave me more time for other food prep and even to relax with friends. Worth the price!

Looking for wireless thermometer for grilling or cooking? This is the one to have. I had doubts, but this delivers. The wireless connection is stable and spot on. This is super simple to use. Insert the probe into the thickest part of what you are cooking, tell the app how "done" you want, set timer and off you go. You can set the device down (no more than 33 ft away from the probe) and go about the rest of the meal. The device will emit a sound and alert your phone. There is a magnet in the device so if using with the oven just stick it in the fridge. Not good to magnet it to the grill lid as it will pick up the heat and send a false alert. Best to keep it away from the heat...stick it to the door or prep area, or just set it on your outdoor table.

The app also includes cooking and temperature guides for different projects, offering helpful tips for each step of the cooking process. With a built-in alert system, you can monitor your cook from within a 800-foot range, making it ideal for long cook times that require you to walk away from the meat. The meat thermometer comes with digital display that are visible outside the oven. This thermometer is on the wider side in diameter and is best used with larger cuts of meat, rather than delicate proteins like fish. The thermometer is also water-resistant and washes up easily.

I've had some time to use this thermometer now, and I have to say I'm really impressed. The packaging it came in was very nice, but more importantly, the device itself is well made and easy to use. I do more traditional oven cooking, but I let a friend use it for his smoker and he also thought it was a good value. I'd recommend this for anyone that's looking for a good wireless meat thermometer they can use with their phone!

This wireless meat thermometer is exactly what I was looking for, no more lifting the bbq lid and smoking my hand just to check if dinner is ready yet. Very practical and works like a charm. I like the build quality and materials as well. Also, what's very important for me is that it's USB-C rechargeable. There is also a mobile app that alerts you when food is ready, it connects to the thermometer by Bluetooth. My only complaint is that the temperature probe is a bit thick and you need to insert it pretty deeply, but that's on I guess.
Overall, it's a useful tool for achieving precision in cooking without being constantly by the grill.

The app had some negative reviews on Goog play. It worked fine for my and connected right up to the thermometer. When you change the temp on the app you see it on the device immediately. I had no issues with the app. It allows you to monitor the temp or run a timer for the cook. Also has several presets for different foods, but I will just plug in what I want to use. Could use a little refinement, but does what it needs to do. No special permission required other than typical bluetooth connection. Also don't need to set up an account to use the app.

Able to charge and use easily. Charges off usb c with light indicators to let you know when it's fully charged. The thermometer works well and gives accurate readings so it's useful to make sure you know when your meat is cooked. It also comes with an app that you can use to monitor as well which is pretty neat. Does everything you would want it to so I'm pretty happy with it.

I so love my meat thermometer. The connection stays on with this even when the meat is wrapped. It is a great thermometer. I realized to keep the connection active I insert the thermometer in the meat. Next I leave the base in front of my Ninja Woodfire oven and put the thermometer in the meat. I can then open my app and set an alarm to notify me when the meat reaches a certain temperature. This is perfection for low and slow cooking.
